Chobe National Park

Undoubtedly one of Africa’s most beautiful rivers, the Chobe River supports a diversity and concentration of wildlife unparalleled anywhere else in Botswana with its claim to fame - the largest population of elephants in Africa. Chobe National Park, spanning over 10,000 square kilometres of rich ecosystems, diverse landscapes and its convenient location offers a wonderful wildlife and nature experience combining excellently with Zimbabwe, Zambia and Namibia's Caprivi Strip.

Chobe National Park has a wealth of animal life, both in variety and in sheer numbers. Elephant and buffalo are a permanent presence on the riverbanks in the dry winter months as well as zebra, sable antelope, kudu, lion, leopard, hyena and the occasional leopard and pack of African wild dog.
